1 – Love – Knowledge
The commandment of love is the most important law of faith. You shall love God and you shall love your neighbor is the basis of every person’s faith. Apostle Peter presents us with further important principles. If we apply them daily, then as the Scripture writes: we will never fall. Spiritual falls due to our own foolishness are difficult. They affect the weakness of the spirit and our health. It may happen that we will not rise from another fall. We will return to old beliefs, to teachers who present false teachings. Therefore, it is worth analyzing and implementing these principles in your life:
“4 – Through which have been given to us precious and greatest promises, so that through them you may become participants of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust/desire.
5 – And precisely because of this, applying all diligence/effort, add to your faith – virtue/moral excellence/perfection, and to virtue/moral excellence/perfection – knowledge/wisdom.
6 – And to knowledge/wisdom add self-control, and to self-control – endurance/patience, and to endurance/patience – godliness/life devoted to God/holiness.
7 – And to godliness/life devoted to God/holiness, add brotherly/friendly love, and to brotherly love – love/agape, the highest form of love, unconditional and sacrificial, the kind that God has for people.
8 – For these things, if they are in you and abound/increase, they do not make you idle/lazy/useless nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Yeshu the Anointed One.
9 – For whoever lacks them is blind – short-sighted, having forgotten the cleansing of his former sins.
10 – Therefore, brothers, all the more strive/be diligent – to make sure/secure – your calling/invitation/summoning and choosing/election, for by doing these things, you will never stumble/fall.
11 – Thus, abundantly will be provided to you entrance into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord and Savior, Yeshu the Anointed One.” – 2 Peter 1:4-11.

2 – Knowledge – cognition
Correct biblical knowledge, correct reading of Christ’s teachings, is one of the elements of the guarantee of faith, presented by the apostle Peter. This knowledge will protect us from false teachers, from false teachings. Therefore, we have the duty to investigate, examine, and test the teachings of Christ.
Each of us can write and read. For wisdom, for a correct understanding of Christ’s teachings/laws, we ask the Lord God in prayers.
Let us also notice a certain difference in gaining knowledge. We have verses that say that we have the laws written in our hearts, minds. Other verses say that it was Christ who brought us the laws, Biblical knowledge.
Is there a contradiction here?
Knowledge written in our hearts:
“And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us. For after saying first: 16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts and write them on their minds.” 17 Then He adds: “And their sins and lawlessness I will remember no more.” — Hebrews 10:15-17
„But this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says YHWH: „I will place My law within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.” — Jeremiah 31:33
Teaching given by God to the Son:
„Everything has been handed over to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone know the Father except the Son and the one to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.” — Matthew 11:27
„When the Helper/Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify about Me. — John 15:26
Let us repeat the question: is there a contradiction here?
There is no contradiction here.
We can defile the conscience, the heart, burn it out, as 1 Timothy 4:1-2 says. Therefore, we must verify our conviction, our knowledge, our understanding. The teaching written in hearts must agree with the teaching of Christ:
„These were of a more noble character than those in Thessalonica; they received the Word with all readiness and examined (350) the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.” – Acts 17:11.„Beloved! While making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I felt the need to urge you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” – Jude 1:3.
„Everyone who goes too far and does not remain in the teaching of Christ does not have God.”- 2 John 1:9.
„But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach to you a gospel different from the one we preached to you, let him be accursed! As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone preaches to you a gospel different from what you received, let him be accursed!” – Galatians 1:8-9.
„That the God of our Lord Yeshu Christ, the Father of Glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the deeper knowledge of Himself.” – Ephesians 1:17.

3 – Father and Son
The doctrine of the trinity and the duality has no Biblical basis. If the trinity or the duality was a true doctrine, meaning the Father and the Son are the same Person, then in the following verse Christ would be lying:
„And yet in your Law it is written that the testimony of two people is valid. I testify about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me.” Then they said to Him, „Where is Your Father?” Yeshu answered, „You know neither Me nor My Father. If you knew Me, you would also know My Father.” – John 8:17-19.
„…I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.” – John 14:28.
To whom was the Son praying? To Himself? If that were the case, the Son would be making a circus…
The Son prays to the Father:
„After saying this, Yeshu lifted His eyes to heaven and said: Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You.” – John 17:1.
„Yeshu lifted His eyes upward and said: Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me.” – John 11:41-42.
What about the verses that say the Father and the Son are one?
„I and the Father are one (1520).” – John 10:30.
„Hear, O Israel, YHWH is our God—YHWH is one.” – Deuteronomy 6:4.
And what is one?
„I do not pray for them alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one (1520), as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one (1520) in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me, I have given them, that they may be one (1520), just as We are one (1520).” – John 17:20-22.
4 – Spirit – who has it?
We can very easily check whether a given teacher, a given religion comes from the true God or not. We have a clue in the following verse:
„Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” – 1 John 4:1.
„By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Yeshu Christ has come in the flesh is from God. And every spirit that does not confess that Yeshu Christ has come in the flesh is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.”- 1 John 4:2-4.
Just listen, read what a person or religion says, what they write and compare it with the teachings of Christ. To do this honestly and correctly, you must have basic Biblical knowledge yourself.
That is why it is worth researching Biblical topics, it is worth verifying other people. Let’s not just look at the fact that a given person speaks in a nice language, that they speak beautifully about love, about justice. General topics are presented in an interesting way in every religion. It is only a matter of a good speaker.
Let’s check the foundations of this person’s faith and fight for the Biblical teachings once given to the apostles. Let’s check what beliefs were during Christ, during the apostles. At that time, there was neither a trinity, nor a dichotomy, nor the name jesus:
„Beloved, while making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to urge you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.„ – Jude 1:3.
